15" Wade tree with wood post horn, 3 3/4" cap, 4" height, 7/8 plate rigging, 12" oval cantle with 3" Cheyenne roll, crupper dee, hobble carrier, 4" tread bell stirrups, rawhide covered, with oak heel block, heavy cross-over rope strap,1/4"under-padded seat, 3 1/2" flank strap, nightlatch. Made for Charlie Hanson,  trainer from Arlee, Mt.

The J 2 Slash: 

Will James' tree, 4" cantle with 1 1/4" dish, 14" swell (finished), Dally horn tipped forward for steep hills and buckers, rawhide cantle binding, covered stirrups, and rolled gullet with rawhide buckstitching, wide Serpentine border, basket-stamped accents, and Floral-carved front and rear Jockeys, (original Floral pattern based on Montana wildflowers,) exposed stirrup leathers, 2 1/2" wide. 3/4 old-time plate rigging, easy swing to stirrups. Weight: 33 lbs., complete with flank strap.

Classic and pretty lines were the order with a little something unusual. Drum-dyed brown leather covers this Butch Cassidy saddle with a small rope border studded with small brass spots.  4 1/2" cantle, 8 1/2" gullet,  faux 8-button seat and exposed stirrup leathers add to the old-time feel of this saddle.  American Bison buck rolls, scalloped cantle and gullet bindings, and half covered brass stirrups. $3750

This saddle was made for Tom Kelner, Kalispell, Montana, about 1998. In the spring of 2004, Jonna Kelner received the saddle below.

Columbia Falls Wade 

16" Wade Saddle in Drum Brown leather, 4" cantle, 3" high Hamley 3 horn,  with a serpentine border stamp, and roses carved on the rigging, cantle back, fender corners, fork , horn , seat and rear jockeys.  Cantle binding, horn rim, gullet roll, and braiding in rawhide.  Bison buck rolls and fancy brass conchos.  $4,750
